Flyout Fishing Adventures

Some say you can’t truly experience the beauty of Alaska without seeing it from a bush plane. There are more licensed pilots in Alaska per capita than anywhere else in the world, and aviation is an incredibly important part of Alaska both logistically and culturally. Not only will our flyout trips allow you to see Alaska from a different perspective, you will also being fishing in some of the most beautiful places in the state. Literally every sport fish found in the state can be accessed by floatplane within two hours from the lodge. At most of our flyout locations we use jetboats to access different parts of the river and lake. This allows us to not only cover a lot of ground, but also provides the opportunity to view bears from a safe distance. Our day trip fly-outs are for Sockeye from early June to late July where brown bears will be fishing next to you. Our most popular late summer day trip fly-out is for fresh ocean-bright Silvers entering a coastal stream beginning in late July to the end of August.

We feel that the air charter we work with provides the very best in Alaskan fly-out adventures. They are a fully insured, FAA approved Alaska Air Charter operator. Their fleet of high performance aircraft includes three ten passenger DeHavilland Turbine Otters, a nine passenger DeHavilland Turbo Beaver, and two seven passenger DeHavilland DHC-2 Beavers.
