What makes us different

Today, the world of fishing lodges is vast and reaches nearly every inch of the globe. Additionally, there is no shortage of fishing lodges and guides when it comes to Alaska. Zoom in even closer, and you will see that fishing and lodging options abound on the Kenai Peninsula. So why Tower Rock Lodge?

Location

King Salmon

Location

We are conveniently located on the Lower Kenai River giving us excellent access to not only the Kenai, but also the Kasilof River and Homer. Unlike southeast Alaska we have both freshwater and saltwater fishing opportunities. Unlike western Alaska, we have saltwater fishing opportunities. Our area of Alaska is a perfect blend of all the best parts of Alaska combined.

We employ our own guide staff

We do not use subcontractors for our guided river trips or flyouts. Our guides only fish TRL guests, live on the property, are held accountable and are tenured fishing the Kenai peninsula for many years as well as many other parts of Alaska.  All of our guided river days are full day trips or until you max out on your limit (please check regulations). This is an important distinction because many independent guides in the area will book only half day trips which restricts you to a specific amount of time. Simply put, our business model is not centered on subcontracting trips to other businesses seeking commissions .

We are All-Inclusive

We are All-Inclusive

Just show up with a toothbrush and we will take care of the rest. This is supposed to be a vacation where you can relax, eat, and fish. All your meals, guided fishing, fish processing are taken care of.

Our Lodge Culture

Who we are today is a culmination of 34 years in business. Because our guides only work for us and live on the property, many of our guests look forward to seeing the same familiar faces each year they come up.
